Beef Heart

One of the lesser used beef products, Beef Heart is rich in iron, zinc, folate, selenium, phosphorus, vitamins B2, B6 and B12, as well as vitamins A, D, E and K. An organ meat, it is often referred to as a super food because it is so heart-healthy. Often quick-fried or slow baked (roasted) or stuffed, for some Beef Heart is an acquired taste, but its benefits and reasonable price make it a healthy selection.
